A new bouldering area at The Black Range called The Vines has been developed recently by Chris Warner. Around 12 new problems have been put over the last few weeks with the help of Andrew Bull.

The 3 main boulders in the group are just 50m from the road on the left hand side not far past the Hinterland carpark spot, but back from the Frost Hollow. The problems range from V1 to V7 so far, with a few harder lines to go.

They also did a new problem called Bogen V6 at the Hill where the rock was pulled off and damaged by some motorbike riders.  The Problem starts from a crouch on the new sloper, then throws into the undercling, then straight up and mantel.
