The Canberra Climbers’ Association (CCA) represents climbers’ interests in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), across all types of rock climbing.

The ACT and its surrounding region provides many opportunities for rock climbing, including sports and traditional rock climbing, aid climbing, mountaineering and bouldering, on a variety of different rock types.

Routes & guides

The ACT has some of the best granite climbing in Australia. Rhyolite, limestone and sandstone crags are also nearby. Much of the climbing is traditional and requires natural protection, and there is also plenty of sport climbing to be enjoyed as well as some difficult aid routes.
